The T&N Original Mattress is 9.5 inches tall and firm in feel. It uses T&N Adaptive® foam to provide a balance of pressure relief and support for all types of sleepers. The addition of graphite and cooling gel helps wick away heat and moisture so you sleep cooler each night.

We recommend The Original if you want a great price, without sacrificing comfort.

The Mint is 11.5 inches tall and has an added 2" layer of Mint foam for pressure relief and reduced motion transfer, so you won’t feel your partner move around. Fewer disturbances mean harmonious sleep and better rest. It offers more pressure relief for side sleepers and more support, especially around the edges.

A lower body temperature will help you sleep better and longer. The Mint is designed to sleep cool thanks to ceramic and cooling gel, heat-wicking graphite, and the breathable construction of our patented Adaptive foam.

We recommend The Mint if you are a side sleeper, co-sleeper, tend to sleep warm, or spend time sitting at the edge of your bed.

We recommend the Mint Hybrid If you're new to foam mattresses. Our Mint Hybrid Mattress is the perfect way to introduce yourself to the benefits of foam while keeping many of the benefits of an innerspring mattress. 

The Mint Hybrid is made with a combination of our T&N Adaptive® foam for a classic Tuft & Needle feel and high-quality pocketed springs. The Mint Hybrid also now features a layer of Micro Diamond Memory Foam and a removable, washable cover. The mattress is our most plush in feel and the materials in the Mint Hybrid combine to create our most supportive, breathable mattress.

The top portion of the mattress cover on the Mint Mattress can be removed and machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle and machine dried on low or no heat. The bottom portion of the Mint Mattress is not designed to be removed and can be spot cleaned.

The mattress cover on the 2020 Mint is not meant to be removed. The zipper under the mattress is only there to help our manufacturers put on the cover, and the zipper is clipped to prevent removal.

Because the cover cannot be removed, we recommend spot cleaning the Legacy Mint Mattress when needed. We suggest using a small amount of mild detergent and water and gently dabbing the cover, rather than rubbing it. Make sure the cleaned area is completely dry before placing sheets and blankets back on the mattress.

Our mattresses work well with adjustable frames, as the foam we use is very flexible and can easily bend to incline or recline as needed without causing long-term damage to the mattress or voiding the warranty. Just be sure to keep the mattress in a flat position when not in use.

Another thing to keep in mind when using The Mint on the adjustable base is if your sheets or protector fit tightly in the neutral position, they may have a tougher time staying in place when the head or foot of the bed is elevated.

Standard bed sheets will fit both The Tuft & Needle Original, Mint, and T&N Hybrid Mattresses best. We suggest that you steer clear of deep-pocket sheets as they may be too big.

We've also designed our own sheets (Percale cotton, Linen, Hemp and Jersey) that will work perfectly with our mattresses. You can find them under the "Bedding" tab at the top of our website.
