Introducing The T&N Topper

At Tuft & Needle, we’ve worked hard to design mattresses that hit every item on the ideal comfort checklist for every sleeper. So why on Earth would we need to make a topper? Because our customers, and even our team members, asked for it!

While our mattresses are engineered to be the ideal amount of support and pressure relief for anyone, we learned that some of us simply want more cushioning when we hit the hay. Some of us want to make our parents’ guest room mattress feel a little more like home. Others just want to build epic forts in the living room for movie night—whatever our needs, we’re excited to launch a product that has been a long time coming, thanks to feedback from both our customers and our team members.

What is it, exactly? The Tuft & Needle Topper was crafted with a lot of factors in mind. It needed to feel like our mattress, but with a little something softer. It needed to be smartly engineered to fit with any sleep setup. It needed to fill the needs of T&N customers and non-T&N customers alike. It needed to be affordable, reliable, and durable. It needed to complement our mattress, but stand alone as well.

Just like with our mattresses, our two-inch proprietary foam topper is responsive, so you’ll never find yourself sinking in and getting stuck. We’ve added a non-skid material to our ultra-soft and luxe cover so you won’t have to worry about slipping and sliding while you snooze. We designed it to be the ideal softness so that you could snuggle in but still benefit from the support of your mattress underneath.

But do I need it? Maybe, but let’s talk about why you don’t need our topper first:

• If your mattress was around the first time the 90’s were cool, our topper isn’t going to fix the people-shaped pockets that are running down the center. It’s probably time for a new mattress, not a new topper.
• If you kind of hate your current mattress and you’re looking to drastically alter the feel of it, our topper probably isn’t going to be the answer you’re searching for.
• If you’re really into Tuft & Needle because you love your mattress and want to purchase everything we ever make, thank you! We’re certainly not going to stop you from ordering our topper, but you probably don’t need it.
• You’re already a Tuft & Needle customer and you find our mattress just a little too firm. If that’s the case, we’d love to chat with you about solutions!
