What’s The Best Mattress For A Stomach Sleeper?

There’s nothing quite like crashing at the end of a long day and shutting out the world by burying your face directly into your bed and powering down until the morning. If you’re like most stomach sleepers, you know that comfort is important when it comes to getting the recharge you need to face the morning.

So what’s really the ideal stomach sleeper bed?

There are thousands of articles out there that tell you exactly what you should be sleeping on, how you should be sleeping on it, and why you need to change your ways if you aren’t sleeping on your (insert any position that isn’t your preferred one here). It’s baffling and incredibly frustrating. There’s research that backs every opposing point and if we’re all being honest, it’s overwhelming to keep up with the changing ways of the sleep world.

If this isn’t your first article—go ahead, keep researching. You’re likely going to see wildly varying recommendations based on who sponsors the post. Even worse is asking the mattress store down the street what they think. The “science” behind who should sleep on what mattress never quite adds up when it’s put into practice, and the one thing we’ve learned in this industry is that no one really knows what’s going to work for every single person in any arbitrary category the salesman fits you into.

We’re big believers that your mattress choice shouldn’t be the source of your exhaustion.

We’re also big believers that you, and only you, can be sure of the quality of sleep you’re getting. It takes time to feel out a mattress and be sure that you’re waking up refreshed and not stiff or sore. That’s why, even with all the considered design we’ve put into our mattress, we offer a 100-Night Sleep Trial. We’ve worked to be sure that our mattress is comfortable for most sleepers, but we want you to be absolutely sure.

Our T&N Adaptive Foam® was created to alleviate pressure and provide a cozy surface that supports you no matter how you sleep. 95% of our customers find that to be the case, but we wanted to make it easy for the 5% who need something a little different to get their best sleep. If it doesn’t work, no problem. We’ll help you donate it to a local charity and then refund you every penny so you can find the right fit.

We believe that the only way to know is to try it, no matter if you sleep on your back, side, or face-down, starfishing across the entire thing.
