Tuft & Needle Donates $100,000 to Team Rubicon

It all started in Seattle. When Tuft & Needle decided to open up a store in the Emerald City, we wanted to celebrate by giving back to the community. So we partnered with Team Rubicon, an awesome organization that employs military veterans to provide disaster relief across the globe. On opening day, we donated 100% of our sales to Team Rubicon. It was a match made in heaven.

Fast forward to this year, and we are taking our relationship to the next level.

T&N is donating $100,000 plus mattresses as needed to Team Rubicon to support their disaster relief efforts in a big way.

“This proves that you don’t have to be a multi-billion dollar company to make a significant, positive impact on the world,” said Brian Meagher, Strategic Partnerships Officer at Team Rubicon.

So why would a mattress industry disruptor spend six figures just to donate to charity? It’s in our DNA. Since day 1, Tuft & Needle has been committed to giving back in whatever way we can. We invented the return donation process that is now the golden standard for boxed mattress companies — if you don’t like your mattress in your first 100 nights, we give you a full refund and help you donate. It’s a win-win.

And partnering with Team Rubicon is a win-win too. We love their mission to provide both disaster relief to communities and a sense of purpose to military veterans. It’s the exact kind of innovative problem solving that T&N is all about. We’re proud to help them help others.
